On September 20, 1998 The Brook had its beginning as Willowbrook
West Worship Center. The first worship service was in a rented
building on Highway 72. We felt the smile of God as we had over 200
people show up for that service.
In October of 1999, we bought the
18 acres of land we now sit on. In October of 2000, we moved into
our current facilities. God continued to bless us and in January of
2001 we added a second service to make room for the people who keep
coming to The Brook. This allowed us to double our worship space,
but we were still pressed for room for our education ministry,
especially on Sunday night and Wednesday night. So we formed a
team to help us make plans for our present and future growth. In
2002 we launched The Dream Continues, which would help us
build more space for fellowship, children and youth ministries. In
fall of 2004, we completed the first floor of our new education
building, and updated the grounds. God has done so much in such a
short time, and we believe the best is yet to come!
