Wholehearted
Wholehearted is the worship ministry at The Brook. We work
each week to create an exciting, creative and worshipful
environment for our services. When you walk into the door we
want you to hear music that is celebrative and hopeful yet
challenging and yes, at times, lots of fun. Come join us as
we spend time together worshiping and praising our Savior
with all of our hearts!
|
 |
We use primarily contemporary worship music to help this generation connect to God in a way that is relevant to them. We hope that when you attend worship services at The Brook you won’t just sing about God, you will truly experience His life changing presence.
As a team, we consider our ministry to be threefold: to God, to our church family, and to one another. This isn’t just a ministry team, we are a family. We play and sing together, we pursue God together, and we love one another.
|
Our Purpose ...
The Brook Worship Team exists for the purpose of
a) declaring the worth and absolute goodness of God
b) expressing our love for Him, and
c) submitting our hearts and lives to Him as we worship.
We are the lead worshipers and our role is to lead the body of Christ to worship Jesus Christ with us.
|
 |
|
Our Goal ... Our goal is that during worship the congregation will experience the presence of God and that this will lead to praise, repentance and an intimacy and love relationship with Jesus. We pray that lost people will be saved and that God will change hearts as we worship Him. We acknowledge that we are ministering to the Lord as we worship Him and that this is an awesome privilege!

A note from Jan:
Hi! My name is Jan Owen and I am the Minister of
Worship Arts here at The Brook. I have been privileged to serve at
this church family since we opened our doors in September of 1998.
It’s my prayer when you attend our services that – more than
anything – you will encounter God. Only He can fill the empty places
in our lives, only He can change our hearts and bring us peace and
love.
If you are interested in serving in anyway in
our ministry please check out the sections on “how to join” and “how
to serve”. While our band and vocalists require larger time
commitments, there are many other areas where you can serve to
support our worship ministry that require a commitment once a month
or less. If you have a heart to help others worship God, we’d love
to have you on our team!
Peace, Jan

dramatic and comedic sketches, video presentations, interpretive
dance, and other artistic expressions.

to help our audiovisual and lighting elements flow smoothly. 3
