Ministry
The goal of this ministry is to offer high quality, low cost
groceries to local families. Angel Food Ministries is a nonprofit,
non-denominational organization providing the same groceries to
families across the United States.
What began with 34 families in 1994, has spread to 30
states in the United States.
Angel Food's groceries
are sold in quantities, called units. The unit will fit into a large
box and the cost is $30.00/unit. A different menu is offered each
month consisting of both fresh & frozen food items. These foods are
not outdated, dented, or damaged in anyway. The food is the same
high quality one would purchase at a grocery store. Comparison
shopping shows the same food items ranging in price from $60.00 -
$80.00 in retail stores. This is both a bargain and a blessing!
This ministry is not only for those
experiencing hardships. Anyone can purchase food from Angel Food
Ministries. There are no applications, memberships, or
qualifications to participate, nor is there a limit to the number of
units you may purchase. Units may be purchased:

to
lower monthly food bills & free up money for other designations;

to
give to others experiencing financial difficulty (this is
tax-deductible);
The process is easy. Just place and pay
for your food order before the Order By Date. Then, on Distribution
Day (aka, Pick Up Day), bring a large box or basket and pick up
your food at The Brook. Food that is not picked up will be donated –
we are not able to store the food at the site.

updates, and printable order form will be available via our website,

area Thrift Stores, and at The Brook office. The Angel Food Team will be happy to
answer any questions you may have regarding Angel Food Ministries.
